GOVERNOR NAMADI OF JIGAWA STATE SIGNS 2024 BUDGET INTO LAW                                                                     27-12-23

By Sadiq Aminu                                                      Governor Umar Namadi of Jigawa State has signed the 2024 appropriation bill of over 298 Billion naira tagged Budget of greater Jigawa.

Africa 247 correspondent reports that, the Governor signed the budget at the government house Dutse the state capital.

Governor Namadi charged members of the state house of assembly to ensure oversight function for proper implementation of the contents of the 2024 budget.

He commended the efforts of the state legislatures for the timely passage of the appropriation bill.

He assured that the budget of over 298 billion naira will be use to provide various services to humanity to achieve the 12 points agenda.

Also speaking, the state Commissioner of Budget and Economic planning Alhaji Babangida Umar Gantsa pointed out that the budget estimate which is quite different compared to the previous years will be use to execute various developmental projects for the advancement of the state.
