SENATE PRESIDENT CONGRATULATES NIGERIANS FOR MAKING IT TO THE NEW YEAR OF RENEWED  HOPE                                                                      01-01-24

By Sadiq Aminu                                                      President of the Senate, Senator Godswill Akpabio, has congratulated Nigerians for making it to the New Year and advised them to renew their hope that Nigeria could be better.

In a New Year message signed by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Hon. Eseme Eyiboh, the Senate President expressed optimism that with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu the nation is on course to regain its enviable place in the comity of nations..
Senator Akpabio also assured that the National Assembly will not abdicate its constitutional responsibility but will ensure the judicious implementation of the budget by the Executive.

“The Senate President mentioned that the legislature understands the plight of the average Nigerian and every decision they take is aimed at improving the standard of living.
