CLERIC CHARGES NIGERIANS TO EMBRACE NEW YEAR WITH HOPE                                                                     02-02-24

By Sadiq Aminu                                                      Nigerians have been told to look into the new year 2024 with hope, faith and enthusiasm that things will turn out better than last year.

Resident Pastor of House on the Rock, Ilorin, Dr Fisayo Ogunsola gave the charge during the Watch Night service into the new year.

Pastor Ogunsola also charged the people not to have a defeatist mindset irrespective of the economic situation that marked 2023.

The man of God also stressed the need for citizens to imbibe positive mindset by holding on to the word of God.

Other members of the congregation, while thanking God for the year 2023, expressed hope that 2024 would be a better year.

The congregation ushered in the new year with a shout of joy at twelve o’clock on the dot.
