The foreign trips embarked upon by Governor Mohammed Umar Bago of Niger state have started yeilding positive results.
This is because some foreign investors are now showing interest in the state.
Special Adviser to the Niger state Governor on Political and Strategy Alh Mohammed Nma Kolo stated this while addressing Newsmen in Minna the state capital.
Alh Mohammed Nma Kolo explained that some foreign investors have indicated their willingness to invest in Niger state in the areas of solid minerals agriculture and other aspect of economic activities that the state had comparative advantage.
According to him the foreign trips of Governor Mohammed Umar Bago has made Niger state a number one business destination in Nigeria by way of woeing both local and foreign investors in to the state coupled with his rehabilitation of Minna International airport in addition to his urban renewal and road construction in parts of the state.
On the six hundred and thirteen point nine billion naira budget that was passed into law and assented to by Governor Mohammed Umar Bago the Special Adviser Political and Strategy said the budget estimate which was the highest in the history of Niger state history would no doubt improve lives of women and children create employment boost agricultural production and above all helped to actualize the Governor vision of new Niger.
Alh Mohammed Nma Kolo however applauded the relentless efforts of the Governor in tackling security challenges head on by running from pillar to post discussing with security Chiefs Emirs and other critical stakeholders from Niger state and beyond on how to nip in the bud cases of cattle rustling banditry kidnapping and other crimes.
The Special Adviser Political and Strategy to the Niger state Governor also appealed to Nigerlites to as a matter of urgency support the administration of Governor Mohammed Umar Bago to succeed.
