NIGERIA ARMY EMPLOYS NON- KINETIC FORM & COMMUNITY PROJECTS AS STRATEGIES TO COMBAT INSECURITY                                                            15-01-24

By Sadiq Aminu                                                    The Nigeria Army says it is employing the non- kinetic form and Community development projects as one of the strategies in combating insecurity in all flash prone areas of the country.

The General officer Commanding 3 Armoured Division and Commander Operation Safe Haven, Major General Abdulsalam Abubakar made this known when he hosted the Plateau state Governor to a Launch as part of activities marking the Armed Forces Remembrance Day.

Major General Abdulsalam Abubakar noted that the move to engage such measures in the fight against insecurity, became necessary in view of the prominent role it plays in the attainment of peace.

Governor Caleb Mutfwang thanked the military for the reception and the GOC for exhibiting high sense of professionalism in ensuring that peace is sustained in the State.

Earlier in a remark, former Governor of the State, Jonah Jang advocated the need for state policing and an improved welfare package for the military and other security agencies.

Highpoint of the reception was the donation of Nine million naira by the state Government including two million naira for the hospital revolving drug scheme in Rukuba barracks.
