KWARA STATE GOVERNMENT OPENS TANKE FLYOVER’S SERVICE LANES FOR USE                                                                                                                          01-02-24

By Sadiq Aminu                                                      Kwara State Government has opened the second service lane of the Tunde Idiagbon Flyover in Tanke to ease traffic along that axis.

The state Commissioner for Works Abdulqowiyu Olododo stated this in Ilorin during a facility tour of the bridge and other road projects in some parts of the metropolis.

He said the residents of the community have shown understanding throughout the cycle of the project.

The Commisssioner noted that the officials of the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN) had recently certified that the flyover is safe for public use.

AbdulQuawiy explained that what is left are just road marking, painting of the walkways and Kerbs, which does not disturb the free flow of traffic.
