NIGERIA AND GERMANY AGREE TO BOOST MICRO AND SMALL MEDIUM SCALE ENTERPRISES                                                                          07-02-24

By Sadiq Aminu                                                          The Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment Dr Doris Uzoka -Anite announced this at a bilateral meeting organized by the Ministry and the German Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development in Abuja.

Dr. Uzoka- Anite who acknowledged existing partnership with the country , expressed optimism that this collaboration would not only deepen the ties but bring about more mutual benefits to both countries.

 

She reiterated the commitment of the present administration to turn around the fortune of the country through job creation, poverty alleviation and inclusiveness as well as boost the economy to one trillion.

 

The German Minister of Economic Cooperation and Development Ms Swenja Schulze said collaboration with Nigeria dated back to 1959 and noted that both countries would benefit more from the agreement.

 

The Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Mr.Wale Edun said the federal government was poised to promoting small businesses in the country.
