NEW ISLAMIC CALENDAR: SULTAN DECLARES SUNDAY 1ST OF SHA’ABAN                                                        11-02-24

By Sadiq Aminu                                                   His eminence the Sultan of Sokoto Muhammad Saad Abubakar has declared today Sunday the 11th February 2024 as the first day of Shaaban 1445AH.

In a statement signed by chairman Advisory Committee on Religious Affairs Sultanate Council Sokoto professor Sambo Wali Junaidu says the Sultanate together with the National Moon Sighting Committee across the country have received information confirming the sighting of the new crescent yesterday the 10th of February equivalent to Islamic Calendar 29th of Rajab 1445AH .
