By Sadiq Aminu                                                    A former head of state Dr Yakubu Gowon has called for the lifting of all sanctions that have been imposed on Burkina Faso, Guinea, Mali and Niger.

He made the plea in Abuja when he presented an open letter of demand to all heads of states and governments of ECOWAS.
