By Sadiq Aminu                                                         The Funeral service for late former governor of Ondo state Mr Oluwarotimi Akeredolu has commenced at Saint Andrews Church Imola Owo.

Vice president, Kashim Shettima, APC National Chairman, Alhaji Abdullahi Ganduje and the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Mr George Akume are attending the service.

Some serving and past governors are also in Owo to honour the late Akeredolu.

They include Biodun Oyebanji of Ekiti, Mr Goodwin Obaseki of Edo, Dapo Abiodun of Ogun, former Ondo governor, Dr Olusẹgun Mimiko, his Ekiti counterpart, Dr Kayode Fayemi, former governor of Ogun State, Senator Gbenga Daniel and senator Ibikunle Amosun,former Ekiti state governor Kayode Fayemi, wife of late Prophet Temitope Joshua, Pastor Evelyn Joshua political appointees and body of benchers.

The event is also graced by hundreds of sympathisers who besieged the cathedral from all works of life.

The Immediate family members of Mr Oluwarotimi Akeredolu led by the wife, Betty are seated in the front rows with some dignitaries.
