PRESIDENT TINUBU SAYS PERSEVERANCE AND PATRIOTISM ARE THE BASIC TOOLS FOR SUCCESS 02-03-24
By Sadiq Aminu President Bola Tinubu says perseverance and patriotism are the basic tools for success.
The President stated this in Qatar, Doha, while fielding questions from State House correspondents shortly after inspecting the National Museum of Qatar in Doha.
Commencing his two-day official outing with the visit to the museum, the President said it was great to document culture from the beginning of history, the culture of civilization, collaborations, challenges and perseverance of leadership.
He noted that since the beginning of nations, nationalism and patriotism had remained a major ingredient for tackling various challenges along the way, which give guidance on how to handle future eventualities.
President Tinubu and his entourage were conducted round several sections where they viewed the early Hijazi Quran fragments, a covering of the Holy Kaaba, the Moroccan Arch, a copy of Assufi’s Treatise on the Fixed Stars, the Abbasid blue-and-white bowl, the Seljuq stucco panel, the Doha Hind and the post-Islamic Spanish ceiling.
Visit to the museum heralds other events that will culminate in the signing of agreements in 8 areas between Nigeria and Qatari Governments
The President also visited the Qatar Foundation, which is responsible for promoting Qatari Government humanitarian activities in other countries, including Nigeria.
The Qatar Foundation for Education, Science, and Community Development, is a state-led non-profit organisation, dedicated to helping humanity on the areas of Science, Research, and documentation.
I an interview, Governor Babagana Zulum of Borno State, said the Qatar Foundation was currently building orphanages, houses and schools in both Maiduguri, the state capital and other places in the northern part of Nigeria.
Governor Zulum, while noting that Qatar has perfected the development of agriculture, particularly livestock farming, expressed the hope that Nigeria would leverage on the relationship to solve the farmers/herders clash.
