MNDD PARTNER’S FIRM TO PROMOTE CULTURE AND TRADE IN NIGER DELTA REGION                                                                                                                     16-03-24

By Sadiq Aminu                                                        A Memorandum of Understanding to promote signed trade in the Niger Delta Region has been signed between the Ministry and a firm.

The Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Niger Delta Development (MNDD) Dr. Shuiab Belgore OON said it is geared towards enhancing service delivery and creating public awareness that would help to improve economic activities within the Niger Delta Region (NDR).

Dr. Belgore during the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with proponents of the partnership in his office in Abuja, stated that the MOU which has received Ministerial approval, involved the Promotion of Niger Delta International Festival and Trade Expo; And Niger Delta Investment and Economic summit.

According to the Permanent Secretary, the MOU is specific on the different roles of each partner would be.

The Managing Director of the firm Amb. Kenule Nwiya jnr explained that the platform was to enhance the culture of the people, sustain the level of engagement and promote developmental stride in the Niger Delta Region.
