NGSG DECLARES MONDAY TO FRIDAY NEXT WEEK AS PUBLIC HOLIDAY FOR THE DISTRIBUTION OF PALLIATIVE 15-03-24
By Sadiq Aminu Niger state Government has declared Monday to Friday next week as Public Holiday.
This is to enable Civil Servants and Political office holders participate actively in the distribution and monitoring of palliatives and Ramadan feeding in their various Local Government Areas to ensure its success.
State Commissioner of Information and Strategy, Hajiya Binta Mamman, stated this in a statement issued to Newsmen in Minna the Niger state capital.
Hajiya Binta Mamman stressed the need for Nigerlites to take advantage of the work free day to pray for the peace progress and stability of Niger state and Nigeria because according to her peace is the prerequisite for any meaningful development.
The Commissioner while appealing to Civil Servants and Political office holders to see this task as a call for service to humanity also urged the people of Niger state to be orderly and cooperate with officials in all distribution and feeding centres to ensure a hitch free exercise.
Hajiya Binta Mamman however thanked the Niger state Governor, Mohammed Umar Bago for demonstrating strong political will, in making funds available for the exercise and prayed Allah to guide him in running the affairs of the State.
