SOKOTO STATE GOVERNMENT MOVES TO END WATER SHORTAGE IN THE STATE                                                                                                                    26-03-24

By Sadiq Aminu                                                        Sokoto State government says is working on modalities towards addressing water shortage in the state.

State Deputy governor Alhaji Idris Mohammed Gobir stated this when he inspected the Sokoto Rima Raw water intake in the state.

The Deputy governor who was taken round various sections of the water intake by the General manager of the Board Engineer Isma’ila Sanda Umar assured that government would soon take the needed steps to ending problems militating against sustainable water supply in the state.

The Deputy governor was accompanied on the visit by the Secretary to the state government Alhaji Muhammad Bello Sifawa,Chief of staff government house Alhaji Aminu Dikko and the State commissioner for water Resources Alhaji Yusuf Muhammad Maccido.
