NIGER GOVERNMENT WILL CONTINUE TO ACQUIRE SECURITY GADGETS TO TACKLE INSECURITY 12-04-24

Niger State Governor, Mohammed Umar Bago has said that his administration will continue to invest heavily in the purchase of security equipment to address the security challenges in the State.
The Governor stated this when he paid Sallah homage to the Emir of Kagara, Alh. Ahmed Attahiru Gunna the second at his palace.
Mohammed Umar Bago further explained that his administration has so far sunk lots of money in purchasing sophisticated gadgets that would aid in tackling insecurity in the state head-on.
He also condole with the Emir and the entire people of the Emirate over the recent killings in Madaka Community by bandits, assuring that his administration is working round the clock to ensure that security is tightened in the State.
On agriculture Governor Umar Bago said his government would not relent in its agricultural revolution which is aimed at increasing food security and self sufficiency as well as providing economic empowerment for the Nigerlites.
While acknowledging the support from the Kagara Emirate, the Chief Security Officer of the state however encouraged them to key into the initiatives of government at all levels and sustained their prayers for maximum benefits.
Emir of Kagara, Ahmed Attahiru Gunna II commended the Governor for improving the security situation in parts of the state which he said has encouraged farmers to return to their farms.
