ABDUCTED FEDERAL UNIVERSITY WUKARI STUDENTS REGAIN FREEDOM 12-04-24
By Sadiq Aminu Two students who were previously abducted from the Federal University Wukari (FUW) in Taraba State have been released and are now free.
According to Mrs. Ashu Agbu, the Head of Information and Protocol at the institution, the aforementioned students were released on Thursday night, 11/4/2024, after being held captive for an undisclosed number of days.
Mrs. Ashu Agya told our reporter that N700,000 was paid as ransom against their earlier request of N50 million naira and that the students are currently in good health.
