By Sadiq Aminu                                                               Acute fuel scarcity has been reported in parts of zamfara state.
Africa 247 correspondent in Gusau observed that most filling station in Gusau, kaura namoda and Tsafe are under lock and keys.
Report said that for the past few Days residents of the state most of the fuel station have been without the commodity.
For the only few that have the commodity there is commotion as a result of long queue of vehicles.
Africa 247 observed that at the station with fuel it is been sold at 780 to 800 naira per liter .
All efforts to interview the affected fuel station managers as to why the hike in the price proved abortive as they keep mute
As a result of this most vehicle owners abandoned them and take to trekking to their various destinations with very few traffick especially in the state capital.
Most of the people who spoke expressed disappointment over the resurgence of long queue at filling stations and the hike in price which they described as uncalled for.
They appeal to the authorities concerned to take step to address the situation before it escalated.
