By Sadiq Aminu                                                                      Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna says his administration has performed the groundbreaking for the construction of approximately 50 roads, totaling 639.5kilometres across the three senatorial districts.

He stated this while performing the groundbreaking for the reconstruction of 1.4 kilometre Water Intake Road from Patrick Yakowa Way to Maigero Junction, and the upgrading and maintenance of 3.15 kilometres Maigero – Narayi Junction Way, totalling 4.55km.

Malam Uba Sani stressed that, the road projects have been strategically planned to enhance connectivity and accessibility for residents, farmers, business owners, and other road users in the three zones.

According to him, a number of the road projects have already been successfully completed while the remaining majority are progressing steadily towards completion with a clear focus on enhancing transportation networks and promoting overall development within the state.

The Governor also said the completion of the two vital roads in Chikun Local Government would not only stimulate commercial activities within the areas but also significantly reduce travel time for residents.

Malam Uba Sani stressed that, the construction of the roads would pave the way for a multitude of job opportunities, both directly and indirectly, thereby fostering a sense of hope and optimism for a brighter future among the communities.

Similarly, the governor has performed the groundbreaking for the construction of the $50 Million Soya Bean Oil Refining Plant by Sunagrow International Oil Ltd at Kutungare, Igabi Local government area of Kaduna State.

He said the project when completed, the $50m Soya Bean Oil Refining Plant will have a production capacity of 500,000 litres per day.

It will also contribute to the economic development of Kaduna and Nigeria by creating thousands of direct and indirect jobs at various skill levels, from agricultural laborers to skilled technicians and engineers for the refinery operations.

Governor Uba Sani called on other investors to avail themselves of the huge opportunities in Kaduna State, especially in agriculture, renewable energy, infrastructure, mining, manufacturing, transportation, ICT, and tourism. We offer very attractive incentives.
