FEDERAL GOVERNMENT WILL SPEND OVER 4 BILLION IN THE CONSTRUCTION OF 250 HOUSING UNITS IN GOMBE STATE 25-05-24
By Sadiq Aminu The Minister of Housing and Urban Development, Alh. Ahmad Dangiwa made this known after a groundbreaking ceremony for the housing units named Renewed Hope Estate in Gombe.
According to him, the project would be completed within six months, adding that 30 states would have estates while six others would have renewed hope cities.
The Minister said, the project is one of President Bola Tinubu vision for affordable housing nationwide.
He said the project will be implemented in two states from each geopolitical zone with Yobe and Gombe selected for the North East.
Speaking, Governor Inuwa Yahaya of Gombe state, commended President Bola Tinubu for the initiative adding that his administration has already keyed into the welfare of citizens through similar project.
Africa 247 reports that Governor Inuwa Yahaya had supervised some projects within the metropolis being undertaken by his administration.
The projects include network of roads at the School of Nursing and Midwifery, construction of gully sites as well as road project at Nasarawo in Akko local government area of the state.
The inspection of the projects was part of activities lined up to celebrate his fifth year in office.
