GOVERNOR ABDULRAZQ LAUNCHES CNG VEHICLES IN KWARA STATE                                                                                                  29-05-24

By Sadiq Aminu                                                                  Kwara State government has launched the conversion and installation of the first Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) vehicles in the state.

Speaking at the official launching of the Rolling Energy station doing the conversion in Ilorin, AbdulRazaq said that the state government has converted 20 of its petrol-engine vehicles to natural gas vehicles.

According to him, the exercise is an offshoot of excessive reliance of petrol judiciously corrected by President Bola Tinubu when he removed the oil subsidy.

He said, “what is witnessed is the begining of new future marking of our new lifestyle.

AbdulRazq explained that this is the direct benefit of oil subsidy removal, adding that between last year and now, the president has given backing to natural gas over petrol.

In his remarks , the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Rolling Energy, Mubarak Danbata, urged all to embrace the Presidential Conversion of Natural Gas Initiative (P-CNGI).
