By Sadiq Aminu                                                                    The official version of the reintroduced National Anthem has been launched.
At the presentation of the official version of the anthem in Abuja, the Director General of the National Orientation Agency (NOA), Mallam Lanre Isa-Onilu said the idea was to clear all doubts about the correct lyrics as contained in the Act signed by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Mallam Isa-Onilu said the words in the reintroduced anthem were carefully thought out to meet the current realities across the country.

According to him, the reintroduced anthem would effectively instill in Nigerians, love, tolerance, hard work and patriotism, required for the country to reach its desired potential.
The NOA Director General explained that Nigerians have shown a buy-in of the anthem based on reports from all its zonal offices and expressed optimism that all those who have rejected it would eventually fall in love with it.
Mallam Isa-Onilu called for entries for the production of the authentic Nigerian melody for the anthem taking into cognizance, the indigenous instrumentation of the people.
He specifically urged Nigerians to observe and live the words embedded in the reintroduced anthem for the unity, peace and development of the country.
