KANO ANTI-GRAFT AGENCY CRACKS DOWN ON EMPLOYMENT FRAUD, ARRESTS 2, INVITES 3 PERMANENT SECRETARIES                                                                                  13-06-24

By Sadiq Aminu                                                                 The Kano State Public Complaints and Anti-Corruption Commission has taken decisive action against employment fraud in the state, arresting two suspects and inviting three permanent secretaries for questioning.

The commission’s chairman, Muhuyi Rimin-Gado, announced that the ongoing investigation aims to expose and bring to justice those responsible for the fraudulent sale of employment forms by the office of the state Head of Service.

“Thousands of job seekers have fallen victim to this scam, and the state government has entrusted the commission with conducting a thorough investigation. ”

Preliminary findings point to fraudulent activities in multiple agencies.

The two suspects in custody are cooperating with the investigation, which seeks to prevent corruption and ensure justice is served.
