313 FIRST BATCH OF PILGRIMS FROM KWARA STATE ARRIVE ILORIN                                                                                                                 28-06-24

By Sadiq Aminu                                                                     The first batch of over three hundred (313) pilgrims from Kwara State, who performed this year’s Hajj in Saudi Arabia, have landed safely at the Babatunde Idi-Agbon International Airport, Ilorin.

The pilgrims, were on board Air-Peace flight Number APK 7911 which departed the King AbdulAzeez International Airport, Jeddah in Saudi Arabia at about twelve midnight Saudi Arabian time.

The Pilgrims were led by two female officials of the state Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board.

Speaking via a telephone call, the Chairman, Kwara state Muslims Pilgrims Welfare Board, Professor Mashood Mahmud-Jimba said the remaining pilgrims that they would be airlifted in accordance with the schedule of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria. (NAHCON)

Kwara state airlifted a total of 3102 pilgrims for the holy pilgrimage exercise this year in Saudi Arabia.
