By Sadiq Aminu                                                                     The Group Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company limited, Mele kyari says there is no going back on the Compressed Natural Gas as an alternative source of Energy.

Kyari Made this known at the Inauguration of 12 CNG retail outlets in Abuja and Lagos state.

The NNPCL GCEO said the availability of Cheaper and cleaner fuel for Nigerians was not a project to take for granted.

The Chairman, Presidential CNG Initiative Mr. Toyin Zubairu said the Gas had proven sustainable and was currently underutilized.

The Minister for State, Petroleum, Gas, Mr. Ekperikpe Ekpo said each of the outlets had different dispensing capacities and where to serve the energy needs of Nigerians.

The Chairman, NNPC-Retail, Mr. Hub Stokman informed that in the next 6 months, over a hundred outlets will be open across the country.
