NSCDC NABS SUSPECTED VANDAL IN KANO                                                                     09-07-24

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) Kano State Command has arrested a suspected vandal, Abdulrahman Auwal, 40, of Layin Tankin Magi, Kura LGA.

This was contained in a media statement signed by the public relations officer of the command SC Ibrahim Idris Abdullahi,and was made available to Journalist in Kano.

The statement said operatives from the Garun Malam divisional office apprehended the suspect while vandalizing transformer fittings and an electric pole at Dakasoye village, Garun Malam LGA.

Recovered items include:

– 8 rods
– 3 NEPA insulators
– 43 quarter rods
– 3 long nuts
– Aluminum rod
– Hammer and chisel

The suspect has confessed to the crime and will be charged to court upon completion of investigations.
