KWARA GOVERNMENT DISBURSES N32.6M TO VICTIMS OF LAGOS MARKET INFERNO                                                                                  14-07-24

By Sadiq Aminu                                                                    Kwara State Social Investment Programme, KWASSIP, has disbursed the sum of Thirty-two Million, Six Hundred Thousand Naira (N32,600,000) to Kwara indigene traders living in Lagos State, whose businesses were affected by the recent inferno at the popular Dosumu Market.

Presenting cheque to the victims in Ilorin, the KWASSIP General Manager, Dr Abdulwasiu Tejidini said Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq commiserated with the victims over the incident.

Dr Tejidini reiterated the Governor’s continued support to all the people of the State across board regardless of their location.

Speaking on behalf of the affected traders, Chairman of the Committee set up to receive the fund, Mallam AbdulGaniyu Sebutu expressed delight over the financial support and described the gesture as an unprecedented magnanimity of the Governor.

Mallam Sebutu thanked the Governor on behalf of the beneficiaries and prayed God to reward him abundantly.
