BREAKING NEWS: ANOTHER MEMBER OF HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES DIES- EKENE ADAMS                                                                                                                                          16-07-24

By Sadiq Aminu                                                               The House of Representatives is saddened to announce the passing of a member representing Chikun/Kajuru Federal Constituency of Kaduna State, Mr. Ekene Abubakar Adams, who died early Tuesday, at the age of 39.

Mr. Adams who won election on the Platform of Labour Party in 2023 was a dedicated public servant, passionate sports administrator, and kind philanthropist who, until his demise, chaired the House Committee on Sports and a first-term member of the House of Representatives.
The House of Representatives extends heartfelt condolences to the family, friends, constituents and dear colleague, as well as the good people and Government of Kaduna State.
May God grant his family and loved ones the strength to bear this irreparable loss, and may his soul find rest in the bosom of the Almighty.
The Current House of Representatives has lost five of its members, they are Isa DogonYaro, Abdulkadir Danbuga, Olaide Akinremi, Ekene Abubakar Adams and Isma’ila Maihanchi, a member-elect who died in April 2023 before the inauguration of the House.
