NCDC RECORDS 3,623 SUSPECTED CASES OF CHOLERA AND 103 DEATHS ACROSS 34 STATES AND THE FEDERAL CAPITAL TERRITORY                                                                                                                                     16-07-24

By Sadiq Aminu                                                                  The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control and Prevention, NCDC, says it has recorded 3,623 suspected cases of cholera and 103 deaths across 34 states and the Federal Capital Territory.

The Director General of the NCDC, Dr Jide Idris, stated this at a media briefing in Abuja.

He disclosed that the current outbreak had also spread to 187 local government areas, with a fatality rate of 2.8 per cent since the beginning of this year.
