TOR TIV SUES FOR SUSPENSION OF PROTEST                                                                        29-07-24

By Sadiq Aminu                                                                     The Tor Tiv , Professor James Ayatse has appealed to those planning national protests to suspend their plans and allow seamless implementation of measures to address their grievances.

In a statement by his media Assistant, Mr. Freddie Adamgbe, the Tor Tiv believes that by suspending the peaceful national protest, it may deny the enemies of the country the opportunity to possibly hijack the protest to achieve their sinister goals.

The Paramount ruler and President of Benue State Council of Traditional Rulers acknowledges the suffereing in the land, appreciates and identifies with the feelings of the people at a time like this, and appeals to people in his domain, Benue State and the general public to exercise patience and give the Federal Government some more time to address the hunger, general high cost of living and insecurity in the land.
