NIGERIAN AND CHINESE GOVERNMENTS AGREE ON NEW TERMS TO STRENGTHEN CO-OPERATION ON MEDIA                                                                                                               09-09-24

By Sadiq Aminu                                                                 The Nigerian and Chinese Governments have agreed on new terms to strengthen co-operation on media.

The Minister of Information and National Orientation, Alhaji Mohammed Idris signed the Memorandum of Understanding in Beijing on behalf of Nigeria.

He said the agreement was to enhance transfer of technology, personnel training, procurement, and operationalisation of equipment.

According to him, the agreement is in addition to an earlier one signed on partnership between the Chinese media group and Nigerian public media organisations.
