DANGOTE REFINERY DENIES IT SOLD PMS AT 898 PER LITTER TO NNPCL                                                                                                  15-09-24

By Sadiq Aminu                                                                   The Dangote Refinery has described as untrue, the statement of NNPCL that it sold a liter of PMS to the company at N898.

In a statement, the Group Chief Branding and Communications Officer Anthony Chiejina
urged Nigerians to disregard the information while they await a formal announcement on the pricing, by the Technical Sub-Committee on Naira-based crude sales to local refineries, appointed by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR, which will commence on October 1, 2024.

The company says its current stock of crude was procured in dollars.
It should also be noted that it sold the products to NNPCL in dollars with a lot of savings against what they are currently importing.
