By Sadiq Aminu                                                                     Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has felicitated with Nigerians on the nation’s 64th Independence anniversary, with a call for a united move to elevate the country to the greatness envisioned by its founders.

In a statement , Alhaji Atiku emphasized that the 64 year milestone was not merely a commemoration but a tribute to the indomitable spirit and unwavering resolve of Nigerians who steadfastly believe in the potential of their homeland.

While emphasizing the place of democratic principles such as institutional strength , the rule of law, political inclusivity and credible elections , the former Vice President advocated a movement by the political class to reposition the nation.
