INDEPENDENCE: NNPP CRUTISISES PDP AND APC FOR THE SETBACK OF THE NATION                                                                                01-10-24

By Sadiq Aminu                                                                    Amidst the ongoing national independence celebrations, the leader of the New Nigeria Peoples Party, NNPP, Dr. Rabiu Kwankwaso has criticised the two leading political parties in Nigeria, the All Progressives Congress, APC and the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP for the setbacks in the nation.

Speaking in Abuja during the NNPP’s National Executive Committee, NEC meeting, Dr. Kwankwaso said both the APC and PDP have failed to provide credible and progressive leadership for the nation.

While claiming that the PDP was a “dead party” Dr. Kwankwanso said the APC had lost touch with the realities facing Nigerians, such as rising insecurity, poverty, and hunger

He claimed that his party, the NNPP despite many challenges is the fastest-growing political movement in Nigeria.

The NNPP National Chairman, Dr. Ajuji Ahmed, called on Nigerians to prioritize doing the right things and unite to build a better future.

The National Secretary, Mr. Dipo Olayoku encouraged party members to actively participate in local government elections to boost visibility and strengthen democracy.

Under the observation of officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission , INEC, the NNPP NEC ratified the dissolution of five states executive commitees, the suspension of some state officials and some other key decisions of the party’s leadership.
