NLC DEMANDS IMMEDIATE REVERSAL OF PMS INCREASE                                                                                                                            09-10-24

By Sadiq Aminu                                                                The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), on Wednesday demanded the immediate reversal of the latest increase in the pump price of petrol by the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL).

A statement issued by the President of NLC, Comrade Joe Ajaero says the previous increases has affected the purchasing power of Nigerians.

Comrade Ajaero expresses dismayed by the increase of PMS and urged the government to present a blueprint on an inclusive economic growth and national development to Nigerians.

The NLC President said the latest wave of increase would further deepen poverty and more job loss.
