HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES URGE FOR REVERSAL OF PRICE OF PMS AND COOKING GAS                                                                                                                                                  16-10-24

By Sadiq Aminu                                                              The House of Representatives has called for the reversal of the price of Premium Motor Spirit, PMS, and Cooking gas as a way of cushioning the hardship being faced by Nigerians.

The House in an urgent motion of Public importance sponsored by one hundred and eleven members, the green Chamber noted that the high price of PMS and Cooking gas has created more financial burden to the masses
In a lead debate by the House Deputy Minority leader, Aliyu Madaki, the explained that if urgent measures were not taken to address the hardship, the livelihood of Nigerians would continued to be threatened.

The Deputy Minority leader said the consistent hike in the price of PMS and the cooking gas has threatened the economic stability and job security of Nigerians.
Mr. Madaki urged NNPCL to expedite action in the repairs of the nation’s Refineries to help address the challenges associated with the nation’s oil and gas sector.
