By Sadiq Aminu                                                             The candidates of the New Nigeria People’s Party NNPP that contested in the local government Elections have wins their seats in the 44 LGA’S.

The Chairman of Kano state Independent Electoral Elections KANSIEC professor Sani Lawan Malumfashi disclosed this while addressing journalist at KANSIEC Kano.

He said the elections was conducted peacefully in accordance with the provision of the law as enshrined in the constitution of the federal republic of Nigeria.

He said the Commission deeply appreciate the roles played by critical stakeholders like the security,journalist, CSOs and the good people of the state for conducting themselves peacefully.

“We also thanked parents and youths for not allowing their children to be used as agents of distraction ”

Malumfashi explained that Six parties participated in the elections which includes AA, AAC, Accord, ADC And NNPP

According the results already announced at the coalation centers NNPP won all the Chairmanship and and councilor seats in all the 44 Local government areas of the state.

He congratulate the people of the state for witnessing the conduct of a peaceful local government elections .
