EFCC ARRESTS 55 SUSPECTED INTERNET FRAUDSTERS IN OFFA                                                                                                               30-10-24

By Sadiq Aminu                                                                    Operatives of the Ilorin Zonal Directorate of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, have arrested fifty-five(55) suspected internet fraudsters at different locations in Offa, Offa Local Government Area of Kwara State.

In a statement by Head Media and Publicity of the Commission,Dele Oyewale says the suspects were arrested in a sting operation in their hideouts following credible intelligence on their involvement in internet-related offences

The statement explains that Items recovered from the suspects included nine exotic cars, two bikes, laptops, smart phones as well as charms.

The suspects will be charged to court upon the conclusion of investigations.
