EMIR SANUSI LAUDS PRESIDENT TINUBU FOR FREEING MINORS                                                                                                              06-11-24

The Emir of Kano Alhaji Mohammad Sanusi || has commended the foresight and magminity of President Bola Ahmad Tinubu for Freeing the detained suspected protesters during the End bad governance protest.

Alhaji Mohammad Sanusi disclosed this when he visited the freed protesters who were receiving medical attention at Mohammad Buhari Specialist Hospital Kano.

He said the quick intervention of Mr President have saved the lives of Many among the detained suspected protesters.

The Emir expressed his dismay on how the minors were being unkept for over ninety days, which resulted to many of them fallen victims of diseases and sicknesses.

“It is very unfortunate that the minors detained where not the actual people that participated in the protest, because pictures were taken and those who participated where noticed on those pictures,not these minors whom mostly were students.”

He appealed to relevant authorities to henceforth ensure that only those who participated in such incidences would be apprehended not innocent minors.

Alhaji Mohammad Sanusi commended Kano State government for the hospitality, reception and the care being offered to the freed protesters.

He prayed for peace to countinue to reign in Kano and the Nation at large.
