By Sadiq Aminu                                                                   The people of Durbawa community in Kware Local government area of Sokoto state have appealed to the state government to come to the aid of their only primary health care facility that urgently needs structural maintenance.

Some patients who spoke to Africa247 correspondent said the health care facility is the only facility serving Durbawa and the neighbouring villages in the area.

The patient who would not allow his name to be revealed said the facility plays a crucial role such as family planning services, providing maternity and childbirth services, educating the community about preventive measures and diseases management.

It also provides screenings and Immunization as well as vaccination programs.

The patient also agreed that family planning service providers and other health care workers are trying their best.

He argued that the dilapidated condition of the facility make it almost impossible to deliver health services effectively.
