NEW COMMISSIONER OF POLICE IN SOKOTO STATE AHMED MUDA SOLICITS FOR SUPPORT OF PEOPLE TO COMBAT CRIMINAL ACTIVITIES                                                                                                                                  11-11-24

By Sadiq Aminu                                                               The new commissioner of Police in Sokoto state Ahmed Muda has solicited for the support of people in combating criminal activities.

The commissioner made the appeal when he paid a courtesy visit to the Sultan of Sokoto in his Palace.

The CP pledged the commitment of the Sokoto police command in maintaining law and order for socio-security and economic development.

He explained that his visit to the Sultan Palace was to show his respect and appeal for the sultanate support for effective service delivery.

According to him, the support of the sultan and other traditional leaders in the state is crucial to maintaining law and order.

Responding, his eminence the sultan of sokoto. Muhammad Saad Abubakar assured the sultanate support and urged the police commissioner to always feel free to contact the sultanate when the need arise.

The sultan added that the Palace is always ready to cooperate with any governance agency or development partners that have direct bearing to the peace and development of the state.
