By Sadiq Aminu                                                                   The Kano state commissioner Of information, Halilu Baba Dantiye says the state government, under the leadership of Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, will always executive human-oriented projects to align with the yearning and aspirations of citizens.

Dantiye made the indication shortly after defending his ministry’s budget at the state House of Assembly.

Recall that a few weeks ago, the state governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf, presented the 2024 proposed budget to the Kano House of Assembly; as part of the process, MDAs were invited by the committee on appropriation to defend their budgets.

According to him, the present administration will build on positive policies aimed at uplifting the standard of living through human capital development.

He stressed that, as a ministry saddled with the responsibilities of informing the public they would do everything possible to achieve the desired objectives.

Dantiye hinted that the ministry and its parastatals have recorded tremendous progress in the last year.

Also, the managing director of KanoState Radio Corporationn Alhaji Abubakar Adamu Rano attributed the success recorded by the agency to the support from the state government.

He said the committee has unanimously agreed that the radio state is doing excellent and approved over one billion naira for the 2025 fiscal year.

Abubakar noted that, the management staff has put modalities in place by training and retraining of staff to uplift its standard according to global best practices.

Others who defended their budgets under the ministry includes Kano printing press, triumph publishing and Abubakar Rimi television.
