PORT-HARCOURT REFINERY FULLY OPERATIONAL                                                                                                                               22-12-24

By Sadiq Aminu                                                              The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC Ltd.) has refuted claims alleging that the Old Port Harcourt Refinery which was re-streamed two months ago has been shut down.

In a statement, Chief Corporate Communications Officer of the NNPCL Olufemi Soneye describes the reports are totally false as the refinery is fully operational as verified a few days ago by former Group Managing Directors of NNPC.

Soneye says Preparation for the day’s loading operation is currently ongoing and advises Members of the public are advised to ignore such reports as they remain gimmicks of those who want to create artificial scarcity and rip-off Nigerians.
