CAN DISTRIBUTES 1000 25KG BAGS OF RICE FOR CHRISTIAN COMMUNITIES FOR NEW YEAR IN KEBBI STATE                                                                                                                 27-12-24

By Sadiq Aminu                                                                   The Kebbi State Chapter of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), has distributed one thousand 25kg bags of rice to Christian communities in the state to enable them celebrate new year.

Speaking while distributing the rice, the state Chairman of the Association, Reverend Dr. Ayuba Kanta, said the rice would be distributed to Christians in seventeen local government areas of the state.

He explained that, the structure of CAN that include, women and youth wing, the block, Directors and eminant elders of the association.

The Chairman, while thanking the state governor for the gesture and for his concern to the Christians community, also requested for more to be extended to others that did not benefit.

He thanked President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, for providing relief of food item to the Christian communities in the state that enable them celebrate Christmas with ease.

Reverend Kanta, assured of prayers to the state governor and the president to enable them succed in their leadership.

Speaking on behalf of the beneficiaries, Ishaya Samaila Dabo, thanked the state government for providing socour to the Christian communities in the state to celebrate Christmas and New Year.
