THEATRE COMMANDER CHARGES NEWLY PROMOTED OFFICERS TO UPHOLD MILITARY VALUES AND ETHICS 28-12-24
By Sadiq Aminu The Theatre Commander of the Joint Task Force North West Operation Fansan Yamma, Major General Oluyinka Olalekan Soyele, has urged the newly promoted officers of the Headquarters and across the Theatre at large to continue to uphold the longstanding values and ethics of the military profession particularly loyalty to constituted authorities.
The Coordinator, Joint Media Coordinating Centre, Operation Fansan Yamma, Lieutenant Colonel, Abubakar Abdullahi made this known in a statement says the admonition came during the investiture ceremony of Commodore Kabir Umar Rabiu and Lieutenant Colonel Markus Defwan as well as Army Warrant Officer David Yusuf held at Gusau, Zamfara State.
General Soyele highlighted loyalty as a quintessential attribute for any officer.
He also emphasized that, loyalty, discipline, dedication and commitment to duty are crucial to achieving the Theatre’s mandate of combating terrorism and criminal activities in the North West Zone and Niger State.
He also called on the promoted officers to always demonstrate exemplary leadership in their supporting roles towards the achievement of enduring peace and stability in the region.
The event was well attended by officers and men of the Joint Task Force Operation Fansan Yamma as well as invited guests from Gusau and environs to include the Sarkin Pawa Gusau among others.
