ONDO STATE POLICE COMMAND INVESTIGATES KILLINGS IN OWO                                                                                         06-01-25

By Sadiq Aminu                                                               The Ondo State Police command says it is investigating an occurrence of killings of some persons in Owo, Owo council area of the state.

The PPRO, Mrs Funmilayo Odunlami-Omisanya made this known while speaking with Africa247 on reports of killing of a prominent youth leader, Mr Fisayo Oladipo, popularly called ” Fissy ” and three other persons in a cult clash as affirmed by the police.

It was gathered that gunmen suspected to be cult members shot dead Mr Oladipo early this morning resulting in a reprisal attack leading to the death of the others.

Mr Oladipo, 52, was was a former APC youth leader in Owo.

The PPRO however said, normalcy had returned to the ancient town of Owo through the intervention of the Police while also trailing the perpetrators for arrest.
