FIRST LADY INAUGURATES UNITY, TANKE FLYOVER BRIDGES IN ILORIN                                                                                              29-01-25

By Sadiq Aminu                                                              Nigeria’s first lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu has officially opened the popular Babatunde Idiagbon Flyover Bridge on Tanke road, Ilorin, Kwara State.

She also inaugurated Unity flyover bridge named after the Emir of Ilorin, Dr Ibrahim Sulu Gambari.

The flyover bridges, a significant infrastructure projects of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, were aimed at enhancing traffic flow, reduce congestion and support the economic growth of Ilorin and its surroundings.

During her speech, Senator Oluremi Tinubu commended the Kwara State Government for its vision and dedication to improving the lives of its citizens.

She emphasized the importance of infrastructure development in driving economic growth and reducing poverty.

The first lady encouraged the people of the State to take ownership of all projects executed at their domain and ensure their adequate maintenance for future generations.

In a remark, Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq stressed that the first lady presence was a testament to her commitment to supporting initiatives that promote economic growth and development.

The two events were well attended by dignitaries and top government functionaries.
