NIGERIA CUSTOMS SERVICE GETS APPROVAL FROM FEDERAL EXECUTIVE COUNCIL TO SPEND N20B ON IT’S CRITICAL PROJECTS                                                                             04-02-25

By Sadiq Aminu                                                                    The Nigeria Customs Service has got approval from the Federal Executive Council to spend 20 billion Naira on its critical projects.

Briefing State House correspondents on the approval, the Minister of Finance, Mr. Wale Edun, explained that the projects were aimed at enhancing the operations of the service.

He said the projects included the procurement of compressed natural gas vehicles and the construction of forward bases in remote areas, as well as a 1 billion Naira life insurance policy for officers.
