By Sadiq Aminu                                                                   The House of Representative member for Edu, Patigi, and Moro Federal Constituency in the National Assembly, Dr Ahmed Adamu Saba, has spoken of his intention to prioritize developmental projects that would advance the course of his constituents.

Saba gave the assurance when he played host to the state Development Officer for Patigi Local Government Area, Hon. Fatimah Asabe Jiyah.

The legislator explained to Africa247 that in the last one and a half years, he has been able to sponsor bills, adding that a motion on the construction of Gbugbu-Patigi Road would soon be presented on the floor of the Lower Chamber of the National Assembly.

Besides the sponsored and supported bills, Saba disclosed that his office has empowered both women and youths in different skills acquisition across his constituency.

He noted that selected youths would be trained at Bode Saadu on Saturday, 8th February, on the use of computers.

He, however, promised to collaborate with the office of the Development Officer for Patigi Local Government Area, especially on programmes that would be of benefit to the people of Edu, Patigi, and Moro.

In her remarks, the Development Officer for Patigi Local Government Area, Hon. Fatimah Asabe Jiyah, commended the National Assembly member for his tireless efforts to continually provide opportunities for his constituents.

She noted that the Kwara State Governor, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq’s administration has touched different sectors of human capital development in Patigi.

She harped on continued collaboration between the legislator’s office and the office of the Development Officer for Patigi on activities that would bring progress to the people, especially at the grassroots.
