By Sadiq Aminu                                                       Super Bowl-winning NFL star Moro Ojomo has proposed the establishment of an academy to support Nigerian-born athletes overseas.

Ojomo made the proposal during a visit to the Chairman of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM), Mrs. Abike Dabiri-Erewa, in Abuja.

The American football player emphasized his commitment to giving back to his community and empowering young Nigerians through sports.

“As a champion, I believe in investing in the next generation,” he said. “An academy for Nigerian-born athletes abroad will help nurture talent and create opportunities for success.”

NiDCOM Chairman Mr. Abike Dabiri-Erewa, who welcomed Ojomo and his parent and siblings, commended his achievements and dedication to Nigeria, emphasizing that “home will always be home.”

She also invited him to the upcoming Diaspora Day to share his experiences and inspire young Nigerians.
