2800 PERSONNEL OF THE NSCDC DEPLOYED ACROSS KWARA STATE FOR A SAFE AND PEACEFUL EID-EL-FITR CELEBRATION                                                                                                            28-03-24

By Sadiq Aminu                                                      A total of Two Thousand, Eight Hundred personell of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC have been deployed across Kwara State for a safe and peaceful Eid-el-Fitr celebration.

According to a statement issued to newsmen by the Command’s spokesperson, Mr Michael Ayoola, the Kwara NSCDC Commandant, Dr. Umar Mohammed has ordered the personnel to be strategically deployed to protect critical national assets and ensure public safety, with priority given to high-risk zones.

Identified high-risk zones include black spots, flashpoints, vulnerable locations, and areas prone to criminal activities.

Specialized tactical teams and intelligence operatives have been mobilized to conduct surveillance, prevent criminal activities, and respond swiftly to emergencies.

Area Commanders and Divisional Officers have also been directed to intensify patrols and enhance operational effectiveness throughout the festive period.

The Kwara NSCDC Commandant extended his warm wishes to Muslim faithful and urged residents to remain security-conscious and cooperate with law enforcement agencies by reporting suspicious activities.
